Any band part of an event called "Jack Daniels Get Shit-Faced Party" speaks for itself. R.E.D. is very much in the same vein as the face-melting punk of Bad Brains. Fierce unhinged power. The show doubled as John Ratch's 60th birthday party, Long & McQuades ZZ-Top-meets-congenial-biker luminary. With fast-living booze-swilling Last Pogo types in the crowd, the theme for tonight, fist-pumping bravado.
